Tabbed Mini Album

Happy Friday today is a busy day for me. First off it is Friday, I am hoping for some park play with the kiddos weather providing if not tomorrow will will go try out the zoo! Today is also release day for Angela Holts Designs Bling Launch! Kathy Orta is also on tonight love watching her classes! My guys are on tonight Ghost Adventures baby! Some cooking, cleaning, trying to find patience with my daughter, teaching letters and numbers, and making silly faces!!! I think I might get a little crafting in there too.

I made this for Valentines day.  I know I am late on getting it posted!!! I made this mini for
Gina's Designs.  Talk about some fun chipboard pieces. I made this mini using the tabbed mini album combined with pieces from WordArt Romance set, and Build a Layout Romance set. I couldn't wait to get my hand on it when I saw it. I have a challenge with anything that is not straight or using a die and thought this would be fun. I paired it with some Pink Paislee papers and went to town. You will also see me use some Sparkle n Sprinkle embossing powders!

I also used a couple border dies, and border punches. The ribbon is from my rather large ribbon stash. I used a bunch of pop dots throughout the album. Hope I gave a little inspiration to do some minis or even scrapbook layouts.

The mini is available for sell at my eBay store.

Distressing A Little

Good Morning everyone. I must say today is going to be a bit weird. My first time being alone with my children for a few days. I have been stay with my mom for the last 9 months ( due to my hardcore crazy pregnancy) and well my mom has a business trip she will be at the next few days. I am use to doing everything myself anyway but normally she will feed him a bottle at night while I pump and relax or hold him while I try to sneak in some work at night. I have no clue how I am going to handle going back to SC in May and being by myself 24/7! Single mommy life is no fun. I know I will be busy though as might daughter might have to take some extra classes in the fall due to her speech or lack there of. But I am looking forward to pool time! Lots of it! I hope Avery loves the water and wants to swim better than his sister. She is straight careless and fearless hints why she is in swim class... we live by lakes and I don't know how to swim under water!

Anyway onto todays project. I was so unaware of the fact that we had to do tutorial like projects when sharing so here is a little bit on how I made my card.

If you see the background paper I made that. I put some Peacock Feather distress ink on my craft mat and then flicked some Gold Creative Inspiration Paint in the ink. I misted the ink until it was good and wet then laid my paper in it, dried it, laid it in whatever was left, and re-dried it.

Here I was able to share a picture of how I got my butterfly. First  I used a butterfly from the Love of Butterflies set. I used some Versamark ink to emboss the butterfly with Sparkle N Sprinkle white detail powder. I then took a sponge dauber and inked Peacock Feathers distress ink over the butterfly and cut it out using a Lifestyle Crafts Butterfly die. I used a different butterfly from the Love of Butterflies set to make the paper clip, punched out using a 1" circle punch, and inked with Peacock Feathers and Vintage Photo distress ink.

I used a sentiment from the Fairies Plate 1 set and stamped it on some white cardstock and hand cut it out to look like a banner and inked it with Peacock Feathers and Vintage Photo distress ink.
You can also see I stamp butterflies from the Love of Butterflies set on some canvas!

Sorry about not having photos of the important steps. I will be more detailed in my future posts! I hope this has inspired you though to make some fun and magical projects!

Quick ATC

Good morning everyone. How was everyones weekend? Mine was great. I was lucky and had some family come in from Vegas for a visit. Yes lucky as I don't get to see my family often unless we are on Skype. I also sold a bunch of cards so thank you to all my buyers. I will be relisting and adding more including more minis to the next bunch. I will be selling on eBay from now one versus Etsy. I did more sells this go around than I have as long as I have had that Etsy store.

Well on to todays post. I am posting for Angela Holts Designs. Our sponsor this month was the wonderful stamps created by Sherri Baldy over at the Scrapbook Stamp Society.

On my ATC I also used some of Miriam's Crafting Supplies teal pearls to go along with the theme. I loved creating this ATC as it was quick and simple. I made the base ATC out of cardboard, mounted the paper, and inked the edges with black acrylic paint and then added the pearls and bam quick ATC.

Hope you have been inspired for a quick project. Next month we will have tons of sponsors to share with you and some awesome fun challenges at the new group called The Bling Chronicles.

Bo Bunny papers called Love Letters and I used a Magnolia image called Tilda with Heart Socks and I colored my cheescloth using a Ranger Inkpad called Peacock Feathers!

CREATE!!!!

Today I am sharing a banner I made for Gina's Designs.

I used the CREATE Dovetail Banner Kit to make my banner. I also used chipboard pieces from Miniature Shape Set Ladies Choice and Delicate Frames and Ornaments set

I used the Authentique papers, My Favorite Thing rolled rose dies, CC designs leaf dies, and Rhinestones. The letters were painted with black acrylic paint, and the banners were covered with white acrylic paint before adhering everything together. I left the chipboard pieces uncolored to help them pop out! Hope I gave a little inspiration to maybe CREATE something a little fun for your craft space!

Project # 5

As I said this month Angela Holts Creative Team is showcasing some stamps created by Sherri Baldy of Scrapbook Stamp Society.  SO make sure you come back next week to see my next project using her stamps.

Today I decided to use an already colored image from Valentine Craft Making Kit 1 by Sherri Baldy.

I kept this card simple using some amazing bling provide by Miriam's Crafting Supplies. She is going to be one out of 3 sponsors for next month!

As you can see I used a Magnolia flourish die, a Tim Holtz die, and more of Miriam's Bling!
