A Sad Goodbye

I am so sad to say my 1 year term is up and this is my last past. It has been such a wonderful year of making new friends and sharing Great Impression Stamps with everyone out there.

I am excited for the new girls starting their new terms with such a fun and wonderful group.

With all that being said I am sharing a card I made using some yummy things sent to me from Mary. We did a Christmas swap sending each other some yummy goodies to create with.

She sent me some yummy papers, washi tape, and this great sentiment. The stamp is called Said the Butterfly. I added the pearls to make the card a little more. She sent me a lot more goodies than what you see here and boy am I excited to play around with it!

So said goodbye and a happy hello.

Happy New Years to everyone.

After Christmas and Sugarless Candy

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas. I know I did. Is everyone ready for New Years??? I have never really been one to celebrate it and never one to do that midnight kiss. In fact the last few New Years, I have been sick or fall asleep before midnight, or by myself with my daughter. I know not much of a fun person right. This year I am in Vegas and may celebrate it the crazy party strip way. Not like I have my body back yet from being pregnant so nothing fits, and I can't drink as I am breastfeeding. I can't be out long either as my son is up constantly lol. So maybe I might be lucky to be up and watching things on the news or whatever channel shares the different things going on around the world.

Well enough of my babble. It is time for another Sensational Sunday Inspirations

I also used some gorgeous red silk and satin white ribbon. I will definitely be getting some more easels done!

Today I have a little Christmas share. I remember last year these book cards were all the rage. They are simple to make once you know how and great for giving small gifts to people.

Once again I am using a Magnolia image and some new Bo Bunny papers Snow Day.  I made a shaker out of the image using spellbinder dies.

I also embellished the front using some lace, snowflake stickers, dyed seam binding ribbon and a Magnolia star die. Everything was also inked with Walnut Stain DI.

You can find this card for sale at my Etsy Store.

Here is my card today. I feel like I have been lacking in the easel card section of my life.

I used a new Kraftim Kimmie stamp (Soon to be in the store so keep checking), some Authentique Paper collection Festive, Spellbinder label die and scalloped square die, Sizzix die, MS border punch, Christmas twine, seam binding ribbon, and Tim Holtz Walnut Stain distress ink.

I think this card turned out great and looking at it, it doesn't seem like I used that much, but writing it out I guess I used a little bit :).

Hope you get a chance to play with us this week!

Wow For Today

Wow am I just doing great today. Well actually Avery is waking up as I type this up so it is going to be really really really short.

I created this card for a contest over at Page Maps.

The stamps I used are from Flourishes  called Bloomin' Aussie Florals

I really hope I win one of the sets they are giving away. Would love to have some new style stamps. It would make a yummy Christmas present for myself too.

Joy with Bulbs

How is everyone cooping with getting ready for the holidays??? Does everyone have enough cocoa where it is cold and enough lemonade where it is hot????

I am sharing my post with you today for

Today I used the stamp Joy with Bulbs to add to my tea light holder.

I couldn't find the right glass container to put in here with the candle. I am sure there are tons out there due to the holidays but finding the right one I should have been a little better prepared.

I used a spellbinder die to cut out the stamp. I have no clue what papers these were I just grabbed them out of my Christmas stash.

This is a fun project and easy for anyone to create. It is a great piece for the mantle and you can create a bunch of them easy as gifts to give. Maybe even get a few stamps for stocking stuffers!

Now that I got all the yummy info out the way. Here is a little project I tried out for my daughter. Since we are staying with my mom all our collectible ornaments that are special are back at the house in South Carolina. So I made two using some fun new Christmas Magnolia images and some older sentiments.

Did you know that Loves Rubberstamps is constantly adding new products daily to the store.

I used puffy paint on the fuzzy parts and then some stickles on the lantern.

I used some plaid ribbon I got a long time ago along with repurposing my Starbucks coffee collars.

Both images were colored with copics and everything was distressed with TH Walnut Stain DI.

Hope this gave you some Christmas inspiration.

Deck the Halls

How is everyone doing today???? I hope well. Christmas is just 10 days away can you believe it. It will be my first Christmas with my two babies and I cannot wait to get all the fun photos and do some baking. I am one of those holiday bakers I am. I love cranberry bread, and cranberry white chocolate  chip oatmeal cookies are my specialty. MMM I need to get the white chocolate chips. I also make these weight watcher bite size cookies for those one that special diet... they are moist and delicious. Errr that point system has to be so hard with something so addictive!

Well today I have a new challenge to share with you.

Our  theme this challenge is

D is for Deck the Halls

Today I really stepped outside and tried to be creative with making an ornament. I love making shakers but I saw this amazing ornament and thought lets try something.

I had this stamp last year and never got to showcase him so here he is. I colored it with copics and used glossy accents to adhere my Sparkle n Sprinkle brand new Cloud Nine glitter.

I used some Authentique paper from LRS called Festive. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, I also used a pearl pen to add pearl dots around the border but it doesn't quite look how I wanted it to. I also used a Great Impression Stamp Merry Christmas. I used spellbinder dies to create the shape of the ornament.

Hope you get a chance to play with us before Christmas.
