Tag Time at Gina's

Today I am sharing two new tags I made for  Gina's Designs.

Okay my first tag turned out amazing and I love love love it.

I used loves of layering on this tag.

For my second tag... this was an epic fail.... I mean save lol. I was feeling bright and colorful. Well after some Dylusions and stencils... not so bright and very upset with my tag.... so after letting it sit there for a few weeks... I said to myself if you mess up with spray Gesso it and start over... (Thanks Limor and Leanne for echoing that into my head!!!)

So I gave it a quick dry brush of gesso and SHA BAM BAMM!!!!! I said well it still needs a splash of color so I tried out my new Heidi Swapp spray I picked up from an awesome sale Susana was having and threw the sentiment on it and MAGIC!!!

You can still see color poking through but muted a bit. That doily looks awesome right!!!

I painted the chipboard with something and I don't quite remember most likely a Tattered Angels Glaze and gave it a body with pearls and antennas were made with string beads. I love the look on how this turned out!

So grab you chippies and come play!

Blue Roses

Well happy day to everyone. Today is my birthday and boy is it going to be busy. I have a doctor appointment, my daughter has an assessment appointment for schooling, and then I think we may be packing to go camping for the weekend.... It's going to be a little hectic today!

I thought I would start everyone off with a little inspiration today! I am using a Sweet Pea Stamp created by Ching Chou Kuik.

For this delightful card I used Ching Chou Kuik's Face 4 (plate 43) stamp.
Some Authentique papers, cheescloth, ribbon, copics, copic paper, and some Wild Orchid Craft flowers.

Hope I inspired you a little today to get out your Sweet Pea Stamps and color.

Sin City Design Team Call

Well if you didn't know

if having a design team call.

I really loved being on this team and I am trying out again to try and stay on. I kind of feel like I am fighting to keep my spot lol.

Well let's not waste anytime... I cannot wait for you to see what I created. It is going to be picture heavy so grab a drink and even a snack and get ready for a fun project!

So first off I cut a 12x12 kraft sheet in half.

Then I scored it on the long side at 3", 6", and 9".

I then cut out 4 mats 2 and 7/8" by 5 and 7/8".

I created pockets for each page you can make these however high or short you want to.

I scored each left is 1/2" bottom is 1/2" and the right side due to my sizing and matting was scored at
 3 and 1/8"

Then I cut 2 pieces of chipboard into a 3.25"x6.25"

I created mats for both cutting my cardstock at 4.25 x 7.25".

I cut the edges off leaving an 1/8" of an inch to make sure the edge fold nicely.

I inked the paper with Tea Dye and Rusty Hinge.

I used some Sparkle N Sprinkle Gold Detail Embossing Powder on my stamp and cut it out!

I used some Distress Paint on paper and stamped my image and fussy cut that out too.

Then I used more colors of ink and my stamps to stamp all over the paper. I also added my cut outs to the cover.

Next I worked on my panels.

I stamp lace on the background of the first mat and then the mats for the pockets I stamped more images. I then inked over everything with Tea Dye ink.

I added some distress paint to my long panels.

I added some paint and Lindy's to my little mats.

Here you see everything assembled.

Here is the backside after the cover was added.

Here is a close of of the stamps on the front of the card.

For the pretty photos of the finished product.

I used the following stamp sets from Sin City Stamps

Here is the card all assembled.

Here is a daylight photo of the card in natural sunlight!
