House Shrine from Gina's Designs

I have a big huge hello and good morning to you all.
Yes today I am very excited to share with you this project today.

Today I am sharing a home decor project using the House Shrine Box. Let me say so much fun. I will admit filling it was a little hard as my selection of fairy garden goodies at craft stores is a little slim. I couldn't find mushrooms and thought to make some but life has a way of off setting your personal agenda.

I did happen to have a stash of teeny tiny flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and well a fairy house wouldn't be complete without fairies!

So I went with the Prima line Fairybelle. I cut some fairies and then used the papers to cove the box.

Inside you can see my stash of flowers and glitter and I through some gears in there too just to have more on the ground.

The Top of the house I used a MS border punch to add some fancy to the roof and then went to town with some moss. I figured fairies are outside creatures so why not add a dragonfly. I used a little one as I wanted everything to stay proportional.

I toiled over a title to put in to the mini bookplate and well I remember my last fairy piece I went with "believe". Well thanks to Tim Holtz I had a "believe" left yippey and it fit in there too!

So here you can see the banner I cut out and some butterflies I also cut form the Prima paper. You also get a good look at the Rock Candy Crackle Paint I added to the front panel.

Well I hope you were inspired to do a little off the page creation today. Remember to stop by the store and check out all the new stuff, or stop by on Facebook or the blog for some daily inspiration!

Scraps of Darkness Creativity Kit Project

Happy Hump Day!!!
It is already Wednesday and this month is sailing by already!

So therefore I am excited to share with you another Scraps of Darkness project that I created!

Here is a flower I added the Lumiere Halo Blue Gold paint to the tips. The gold really shines through on this particular flower!

I had fun using the vertigo sheet included in the main kit too. Check out his video here for how I played with the vertigo sheet.

You can also see it here on the Olive flower from the flowers in the main kit.

I also added dew drops to some of the peacock feathers.

The last photo shows the awesome crackle paint included in the kit.

Here is a video on the process.

So here are the kits I used on this

So here is my layout for the reveal. I had so much fun playing along with the sketch for the kit.

I used the Authentique papers from the kit along with the Lindy's Spray from the color kit. I also had to use some of the Prima Chalk Ink Teal Damask on this layout too.

I couldn't resist adding some of the Darice bling that was also in the kit. To add even more texutre I grabbed my molding paste and added it behind my photo using the Tim Holtz stencil that comes in the color add on too.

The Kasiercraft blooms in the kit are beautiful and well I had a blast altering these using the Lindy's spray and the Teal Damask Prima Chalk Ink.

I also added some chipboard from my Gina's Chipboard stash to add the flourish and the title to finish the layout off.

If you have enjoyed this layout why not check out the video on how I made it.

Anything Goes New Challenge

There is a new challenge over at

The theme this week is

Anything Goes

But before I get to my challenge card check out this post to see some amazing new products coming to the store!!! I am so ready for some Prima products for this year. It's like every year the dominate and create the next amazing and awesome thing..... it's all rainbows and pots of gold to gain for next year... I mean really how can they top the next big thing!!!!

Well I told you you would get to see this cute stamp real soon! I used her recently doing a contrast of no line versus lines. Here is my previous post using the NO LINE Technique! Which do you like better lines or no lines? I think I prefer the no line technique! It is a little more work especially as if you mess up you have to fin a good way to hide it or start over!
