Wall Art Key

Hey everyone.
First off I hope you all had a GREAT GOOD FRIDAY!
Second I hope you all have a safe Easter!

Today I am here to share with you a wall art piece. I had so much fun playing with the key. At first I was like hmmmm what to do. Then I thought to make is an inspirational piece.

"The key is to treasure the voyage."

First I painted everything black. Then I decided to paint the balloon along the lines of teal and vintage metals.

(Sorry the picture did not want to light up lol).

I then altered the gears by doing a layer of gesso, layers of Twinkling H20's and then adding some Glass Bead Gel, completing the gears some some Tattered Angels Paints.

The base of the key got a layer or Croco Paint giving it that old metal rusting off look. Then I finished off the key with from metal flowers and some chit chat pieces.

Items Used:

Tim Holtz Chit Chat
Ranger Acrylic Paint
Viva Decor - Croco Paint

Handsome He Is

Good morning everyone. I have a special layout that I made for Gina's Designs. More importantly I made it for my mom.

Of course having two grandbabies she had to share the love equally. I made a layout of my daughter for my mom for Mother's Day so it is only fair to equal it out and make her one of Avery.

I so love the Pink Paislee papers I used and the amazing chipboard pieces that really helped make this layout pop!

Bloom Girl Art Journal Inspiration

Super excited to share my newest creation with you all. I did another art journal page. I had so much fun with this page. I created it for Shanna Day Inspiration at Loves Rubberstamps.

Have you seen the new stuff in the store. If not check it out. New stuff is always being added so keep checking back.

So to get started I laid down some Dylusion Sprays.

For the Bloom Girl I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to color the skin and Black Soot for her hair.

I used some Prima Chalk Inks and Prima alpha letters as well as Tim Holtz Alpha stamps to created the saying.

I did use a Crafters Workshop stencil and a baby wipe to take away some color. I then added some highlights with the Picket Fence Distress Ink Marker.

I used a Big Brush pen and a different Crafters Workshop stencil to add the fun circles on the page.

This was such a fun page as I haven't played with my Dy sprays in a while and I thought why not be bright! The last page I did, I did not share. Maybe I will. It is the complete opposite of this page lol.

Items Used:
Prima Stamps - Alpha Letters, Girl Hope and Inspire, Create Explore
Tima Holtz Alpha stamps
Prima Chalk Inks
Distress Marker - Picket Fence
Crafters Workshop Stencils
Big Brush Pen - Black

Tag You're It

Hello everyone.  This is my second post for the day and a quick share.

I made this tag for Whiff of Joy using some of the stamps from the Spring Stamp Set.

I used some clear embossing powder to give the music noted the tan look. Then I used some distress inks all of the tag for the darker tones. I also added some brown ribbon from my stash along with some pearls.

Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting today.
