Anything Goes

It is a new Tuesday which means there is a new challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps!!!

The theme this week is

Have you seen the new Zodiac Collection images. Well of course Magnolia stamps has already come out with the cute Animal collection but I am really excited about the Zodiac collection. The images are just way too cute.

I colored up this cutie with copics then used some Distress Ink to color the background. I paired her with some older My Mind's Eye papers. They are my favorite but I don't really ever use them as this is my favorite MME pad.

Scraps of Darkness 3 Generations Layout

Hi everyone. I am excited to share a masculine layout today that I created for Scraps of Darkness.

I love the Cartographer Prima collection and got to use some of that on today's layout.

National Scrapbooking Day Crop - Alice in Wonderland Tea Party

Welcome everyone to the Scraps Of Darkness/Elegance "Loves The Library" National Scrapbooking Day Crop!

Starting May2nd - May 6th the fabulous Design Team will be posting challenges (with an example) inspired by the library or books!

So for my book I picked "Alice in Wonderland"! I know many of you love this theme and I love all versions of the movies out there.

A big thing I love is tea and coffee. I also think a big thing everyone remembers is the crazy tea party where she meets the Mad Hatter!!!! So I made a container to hold my tea bags.

So my challenge to you is to create anything using a Tea or Coffee theme. You can do an art journal page, a card, a layout, tags, or altered item using anything from Alice in Wonderland. Some ideas, Alice, time pieces, tea pots, top hats, white uhh hemm red roses, drink me or eat me, etc.

So here is the front with a drink me tag. You can see the bright orange tea bags at the bottom.

Here is the holder empty with the white rabbit tag on the other side.

I couldn't resist using some roses as the queen of hearts would have your head for her roses!!!

It's Your Big Day

Can you believe it is already MAY!!! I cannot. Summer will be here before you know it and pools will be opening up and it will be my birthday soon! So I decided for some inspiration a birthday card would be fun to share!

So for my card I used a Tiddly Inks image Ellie Says Happy Birthday and colored her with copics on copic paper. I matched the image up with some My Mind's Eye papers (Flair) and finished it of with a MFT sentiment from the Big Greetings stamp set.

Gina's Designs Memory Tray

Today I am sharing a super fun and amazing project I recently created.

I use to be a beach bum and was at the beach daily! Well where I live the beach is 3 hours away!!!

So I have sworn to bring the beach to my home. Yes so far my fireplace mantle and one bathroom has been beached out! So now for the powder room. I decided to create this specifically to decorate my powder room so people have something to gaze at besides a sink.
