Sweetheart Tilda

Hey everyone. I feel like I haven't made a card in forever! Well I got one finished after I wrote down all the challenges going on. I love trying to piece together cards for all the challenges. In fact I think I have a good 3 more cards to make soon. I have been studying and making my own templates for cards recently. I love all the creative items that can be made. I am so excited for what I will be creating next. I have so many ideas in my head it seems like there is not enough time of day to get them all out... I wish there was a machine that could print picutres of images in my mind so I would not loose them. The first scientist to create that sign me up! I have a good few many notebooks to write stuff down in when I get these ideas... Takes time I tell you.
Well on to my card. She is a Tilda. I believe I got her from stamping scrapping. I love how fast Cindy gets items out. I mean seriously ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM! I used some different style Prima flowers to add more and some ribbon I got on clearance from Michaels. My papers are from DCWV and I colored my Magnolia image with copics on some heavenly white paper from Paper Temptress.

O I almost forgot that I added diamond stickles to my flowers just because I love stickles. I always try to find a way to add them in.
E000, E00, E21, E35, YR23, YR21, Y23, YR07, YR04, YR02, YR0000, YR000, YR00, YR01, E77, E71, E70, R20, and the color blender. Hope you like her and check back for more to come soon.!

Tilda card

Hello Craftmates. I have a new card to show. I love this card because it is so simple. Coloring Tilda was fun. Blue so far is a tough shade for me. I colored her with my copics on Paper Temptress' cryogen paper. I used papers from DCWV Garden Party pack. I used my cricut to cut out the circles and scallop the edge of the paper for the scallop. I cannot wait until I get some punches. I love seeing everyones cards with punches. I also used some recollections pearls and pearl flowers. I put Star Dust stickles on the bottom of her dress and middle of her hair bows. Also the paper has glitter on the turquoise part making it sparkle and shimmer! The sketch is from Sketch Saturday and she will be entered that challenge.

I would have a better card recipe for you, but where I am at it is midnight and today was an extremely long day for me. I won a Tiddly Inks challenge (big big big smile)! So happy because I got more digis to play with. Cannot wait to color on those tomorrow! Although right now sleep seems a whole lot better. I will be counting my z's here shortly! Check back soon to see my next few creations!

Kenny K Brown and Green

Hello Crafties!!! I was hoping to make the stamp something challenge for sassy circles...hints all the circles. But, I have brand new front of the house instead. QUICK NOTE: PICTURE HEAVY BLOG! The fiance is home for a few days and it was time to do front yard crashers the not so free version. We laid down grass seed and soil. We also ripped up the front bushes and laid down a mini cobblestone patio. Laid a border around our tree, and flower bed and planted flowers. It was truly a first for me in the dirt and planting flowers outside with all the bugs! But it was a fun little sweaty workout.

Anyways onto my newest card.

Like I said she is a Kenny K digi named download diva. I used DCWV paper from the rustic line and garden party. I also used some ribbon from Michaels and colored that with copics E59, 57, 50. Just trying something different. Of course I used copics to color her. For the list : YR23, Y23, 21, C3,1,00, G21, 28, YG67, 63, E000, 00, 21, 95, 93, 51, 53, 55, 57, and 59. I used my cricut to cute the scalloped circle and the other circles. This was a real quick throw together for me and I was about 6 minutes late for the submission time. It's oaky though I have flowers instead of pine needles. Well check back again hopefully I'll get a few cards made this weekend for Easter next weekend and also have some Mother's Day cards made.

Forgot to put the challenges here:

Swinging in the Garden

Second card of the day! Another image from Mo Manning’s digi’s.

I used Copics of course. This was a lot tougher than I thought it would be, but fun. I used Martha Stewart flower and dots stickers as well as Recollections dots. My papers are from DCWV. Sorry I do not remember the theme name of the paper stack though. Normally all this is written down, but for the sake of emergency stuff was throw in bins after I used it to keep my 1 year old out of it.

I also used Glossy Accents on her shoes. Sorry it is short but I hope you enjoyed it or that I inspired someone. Have a wonderful crafty day/night.

Oh before I forget she will be in the following challenges:

Hello Tropical!

Hello Everyone. So I have a new card to post for the following challenges:

She is a digi from Mo Manning and her name is Kalei. I thought this to be perfect for the tropical theme. With all our storms we have been having a little tropical paradise seems so nice right now…WITHOUT the storms of course. The sentiment is handmade. I will eventually over time have some better sentiments for my cards. I used diamond stickles on the card, flowers,  and on her ankle bracelets. I colored her with Copics, but as I said stormy weather and tornado watches, I could not really write down what the colors were before I had to put them up so my daughter did not get into them. I also tried some Prisma coloring on her hair. Definitely need to work on practicing with them. The papers are of course from DCWV Café Mediterranean. The ribbon is from my stash from Michael’s Craft Store. The flowers are Prima Flowers. I hope you enjoy her and I will have my other post up in a quick second!

First Time Digi

Hello Everyone,

I love getting the comments. Thanks ladies.  And followers.... I follow quite a few people myself and it is so exciting to see that people want to know when I have a new card out. Thanks to my family for also supporting me and telling other people about my cards.

This was a fun card to make because I got to use some new stuff and new techniques. Of course I will get better with the dot background but hey everyone has a first attempt. The flower soft..my first impression, I expected something really soft. The digi image was too cute to pass up. Sentiments are still very new to me since scrapbooking I just type it and print and dont have to really worry about it fitting into a certain dimensions. But hopefully I can find some really good sentiments.

Well her she is. Is she not a cutie. I am partial to Magnolia's but there are quite a few stamps out there I cannot wait to get my hands on. Sarah Kay and Kraftin' Kimmie are my next purchases I see in the near future.

Making the Card:
Stamp: Digi Image from Tiddly Inks "Catch My Heart"
Cardstock: Recollections and DCWV "Linen Closet"
Copics used: G000, G00, G02, C1, C3, C5, G09, G07, G05,
BG05, BG02, BG01, B000, E21, and E00
Embellishments: Flower Soft "summer" and paper shapers circle punch
Sentiment: Handmade

Here is what the inside looks like.

Challenges she will be entered into:

Thanks. Until next time happy crafting!

Black and White

Thanks again everyone who comments. I really enjoy them! Like I said last night/morning, I was going to have another card up. This was fun and I love this card. I used copics cool grays to color her. Stardust stickle on her bow for a little sparkle. I do not know the name of the EK Success punch used or the name of the embossing folder. I want to say they are swiss dots. She is very simple I think and so fun to color. O the embellishments are from Recollections as well. I believe you can click on them and make them bigger to get a better view.

She will be entered into the following challeneges:

First Attempt
Second Attempt

Third Attempt

These were just me playing around with colors and shading.

Now before I picked her I tried some others attempts and also tried using the Warm Gray Copics to color her once I decided she was the stamp for the job.
Check back again for more cards to come!

Secret Tilda

Good Evening To All....First off let me start by saying thank you to all who commented. It was a real confidence booster!

So yesterday I saw a challenge and I jumped for it. I was always the one who was over prepared in school and with this I felt so not prepared. I literally did it and was racing the clock with a few minutes to spare before the challenge closed. I cannot stress how new I am to blogging and to card making. I love coloring and crafts, always have. Hopefully I will get a routine down as far as challenges and dates so that I can be prepared. I have a calendar that I plan on filling out (like I said over prepared).

Well here she is... she is the Secret Tilda from the 2010 Merry Christmas Collection. I know it is not Christmas but she was good for what I needed. I used regular cardstock, DCWV citrus cardstock and Basic Grey cardstock called Ambrosia. The embellishments are really nothing too much ribbon from Reasonable Ribbon called Penelope. I got the crazy idea to weave some paper through some of it. Turned out awesome I think. Next I am not big with using sentiments which I obviously need to get use to. I used my cricut to cut out a tag and used some distess ink. Then I used some leftover thread from a cross stitch I did a few years ago and tied it to the lace.

Of course she was colored with copics. I will be practicing with distress inks really soon.
Hair: E31, YR21 & 20; Skin: E21, 00, & 000; Shirt, Bow, & Socks: R27, 17, 22, 14, & 12; Pants: E40-44.

Challenges she is going to be in

I am not 100% about her because I had short time to really think and work on her, but I cannot wait until tomorrow. I have a wonderful card that I am crazy about. Can't wait to post it for everyone to see.
Goodnight crafters.
