For my card this week I am using a Great Impressions Stamp called Summer Flowers. I really had fun coloring this and it fit perfect with my oval spellbinder die.

I used some new summer paper pads by Echo Park.

Here is a close up of my coloring with copics. Hope you like and stop by to play with us this week!

Glitter Border

Here is my second post for the day. I should have had this up a lot sooner but my preggy self has been busy trying to find clothes that fit. I had a busy weekend finding pants to fit over the weekend and go figure today I want to wear shorts and I can't close them. I had one of those crazy cry moments because  of how big I am... Thank goodness I have only gained 9 lbs. However, my belly is a whole nother thing!

Anyway I am here to tell you a fun way to make a stain. I really thought about painting my edges just like inking an edge. So I filtered through and thought mister technique but in a little dish. Well I used a little lid and put some water in it. Then I added some paint until it was a good consistency that I wanted to get the paper to absorb. Then I dipped the edges of my paper and it worked perfectly.

I used a stamp from Sparkle n Sprinkle from the Flamingo Christmas set. He was colored with copics. The paper used was come of that wonderful sand it tear it emboss it co'ordinations line. I don't know the name of the paper as it was some scrap that had been scratched on. The ribbon is from last year that I got from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I also used some paper from Echo Park Christmas pad as well.

Here you can see the sparkle in the hat, the lights and the border.

I also painted part of the santa hat that is normally suppose to be white and the bulbs with the same color used on my stained edges.

The colors I used is

Flip Flops

Happy Monday. I am a little sad this week. We are saying a goodbye to one of our team team coordinator. She has been so wonderful getting us started off and getting this design team started. The challenges she got started were so fun as well.

I wish her the best in all that she is doing!

So today I have a fun card to share from Great Impressions.

The stamps I am using are just fun and summery!

I used a newer paper pad from Echo Park. Flip flops were perfect for the flip flop paper!

For the image I used Flip Flops in the Sand and colored them with copics. I cut the image out using the Deckled Rectangle Spellbinder die. I inked the edges using an orange ink and then used some Sparkle n Sprinkle Sparkling Sands sparkle n soft for sand!I love that stuff when doing beachy cards with sand!

For the sentiment I used A Walk in the Sand with Cayenne colored embossing powder and and cut it out using the Deckled Oval Spellbinder die. I also inked the edges with the orange ink.

Hope you like the summery theme it sure is summer here in Vegas.

Come back tomorrow to see a new post and our challenge is almost up so come play!

On the Sand

Happy Monday. I am so excited to share my card with you today.

I have a new card over at

I really love this particular card because it is so simple but so nice and perfect I think. I would have loved to have some seashells but I could not find the seashells I wanted!

Today I used the stamp On the Sand and Picturesque Flip Flops.

I used some teal scratch paper that had some random stamping on it and then tore the bottom of the paper and layered it with a sand colored paper.

I used a large spellbinder scallop rectangle die and colored the image with copics. I added some stardust stickles to add glitter to the straps. I also attached the picture with a brass brad and used some jute string on the background. I also used some frayed burlap on the edges of the torn paper.

I stamped the sentiment on white paper tore the paper off around it, then used frayed burlap on the sentiment, and a brass pin to attach the sentiment.

A little summer romance

Good Morning and so sorry I am late. I had a rough tough night of none sleeping sicko's last night.

I am hoping for a fun productive day and maybe upload some photos of our trip to Lake Mead yesterday. We will be going to the Shark Reef next week and maybe the zoo at some point.

But enough about all that let me share a new challenge with you!

In case you are wondering what it means to case... copy a style, color, theme, or sketch even from one of us on the team.

So for my card I really wanted to use one of my newest stamps but I wanted it slightly light and distressed a little.

Hope you like my card. Check back tomorrow for another new creation of mine.

A Cup of Cheer

Happy Happy Monday. I hope everyone is having a great start off to the week. I hope everyone had an excellent weekend. I found out what I am having and I am so excited. I am getting my little boy!

Of course the few good days I have been having with only having to take one pill a day versus three I have now stepped into the migraine phase of maternity for me. I had such bad headaches and migraines with my daughter during the second trimester due to the change in hormones I am afraid I am at that stage again! But I am excited and it was awesome getting the ultrasound on dvd. I wish I had done that with my daughter but it was so exciting to be there. Adyson kept wanting to sit on the bed with me and play with the gel on my belly. It was so fun.

So to send off some happiness I am sending everyone a cup of cheer!

I used the stamps from

Flowing Teapot and A Cup of Cheer.   I used an older pad from Authentique that seemed kind of perfect for a tea theme. I stamped the sentiment in a pink water based ink to go with the rest the card and then picked a flower out of my stash.

I used my Tim Holtz tiny attacher to attach some lace to the side of the card just to add a touch of tea time. I also used

Pink Highlights to add sparkle to parts of the cups and teapots as well as other parts of the image.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you stop by tomorrow to see something new.

June Rose

Well welcome to Monday. I hope everyone is having a good day. Today I am particularly excited as I might be finding out if I am having a girl or boy. Of course this has nothing to do with my card but it is the first week of June and this stamp is appropriate! My birthday is also this month and I really love this stamp.

The name is of the stamp is June Rose. I also used a doily and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The lace is from Really Reasonable Ribbon but I cannot remember the name of it. I wish I did as this was the last of it.

I used a fun technique called Crackled Glass. I used some thick embossing powder and put it in the freezer once the
