A Sad Goodbye

I am so sad to say my 1 year term is up and this is my last past. It has been such a wonderful year of making new friends and sharing Great Impression Stamps with everyone out there.

I am excited for the new girls starting their new terms with such a fun and wonderful group.

With all that being said I am sharing a card I made using some yummy things sent to me from Mary. We did a Christmas swap sending each other some yummy goodies to create with.

She sent me some yummy papers, washi tape, and this great sentiment. The stamp is called Said the Butterfly. I added the pearls to make the card a little more. She sent me a lot more goodies than what you see here and boy am I excited to play around with it!

So said goodbye and a happy hello.

Happy New Years to everyone.

Joy with Bulbs

How is everyone cooping with getting ready for the holidays??? Does everyone have enough cocoa where it is cold and enough lemonade where it is hot????

I am sharing my post with you today for

Today I used the stamp Joy with Bulbs to add to my tea light holder.

I couldn't find the right glass container to put in here with the candle. I am sure there are tons out there due to the holidays but finding the right one I should have been a little better prepared.

I used a spellbinder die to cut out the stamp. I have no clue what papers these were I just grabbed them out of my Christmas stash.

This is a fun project and easy for anyone to create. It is a great piece for the mantle and you can create a bunch of them easy as gifts to give. Maybe even get a few stamps for stocking stuffers!

A Little Yellow

How was everyone's Thanksgiving???? I hope everyone had a wonderful time and safe travels.

Today's post is for

Well I made a fall style card using the stamp Daisy Flourish (E702).

I colored the image with copics and added some Sonic Silver Glitter from Sparkle n Sprinkle on the little flowers so they look like silver bells.

I used the spellbinder die label four I believe and inked all my edges with distress ink.

The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.... I love the quality of the ribbons she sells!

The papers are from My Mind's Eye from a release I believe they had last year!

Hope you like my simple creation. It is my final fall style card I think for this year.

Thanks for stopping by and hope I made a Great Impression.

Great Impressions Blog Hop with Ribbon Carousel

Welcome welcome welcome!!!! I am so excited to have you here today for our hop with

The Ribbon Carousel

Who in the world doesn't love ribbon and trim???? Who?????

Well grab a drink and snack and come along for a fun hop. If you are coming into this hop randomly why not start at the beginning so you can leave comments for your chance to win some fun prizes. If you do not have time the to hop today the hop is going on until Friday, November 30 at 11:59 pm EST.

I had so much fun with this card. I used a few different products to create this.

I used Peeled Paint distress ink, Goosebumps spray, cherry twine, scalloped circle die, snowflake charm, and then Fire Brick Red distress ink to use my Great Impressions Stamp: Merry Christmas (C409). I used this satin white ribbon to make the wreath, the cherry twine to tie on my snowflake, I used two different ribbons to create a little background border.

You can find this card for sale at my Etsy Store.

I used this tutorial here to learn how to make the ribbon wreath.

Now don't forget to leave comments for your chance to win some awesome prizes. The hop will run through to Friday, November 30 at 11:59 pm EST. Winners will be announced Saturday

On a personal note my son is such a wonderful addition. I really love when he tries to eat my face. I know it sounds crazy. If your a cuddle mommy and your have your baby close to your face... they wobble everywhere no matter how you hold them, but Avery loves to give me open mouth " I want to eat your face mommy" kisses.

This is him 2 days old!

Make a Wish

Today is a post for

Did you have fun with last weeks guess our Christmas Carol??? I hope you did. This week we have another week of releases for you. Tons of fun Christmas themes coming your way this week.

So here is my creations using the new stamps
I colored Prince Charming with copics and that was a ton of fun. I am not best with greens but he turned out great. I used some Sparkle n Sprinkle Red Apple embossing powder to emboss the sentiment. I turned the sentiment into a banner by using a circle punch to chomp the ends off and some fun red ribbon along the boarder. The papers are from one of the new Bo Bunny collections.

Also coming up we have another hop coming up for you!

Single Layer Card

This week we are doing something special at

Great Impressions Stamps

We are playing a little game of

"Guess That Christmas Carol"

Are you ready for another Carol?

Don't let the Merry Christmas fool you I really hope you can guess this one. I am not sure what kind of hint I could give you so I don't give it away though.

I really hope you find time to participate this week!!! We have so many fun creations for you.

So for my carol card I decided to use the stamps

I really had fun creating a single layer card. It is not something I do on a regular ever. I find it really hard. But I love seeing them and thought to give it a try!

Come back tomorrow to see what the next Christmas carol could be!

Come back next week also because we will have a new release for you.

Holiday Challenge

Hey Everyone. Happy Sunday. This is post one of two for the day. I will have another post up here shortly.

Today starts a new challenge for

Our theme this month

Holidays
( Show us your holiday themed creations)

I used these stamps to create something like a winter scene

I kept my card really simple as I am still hanging in there waiting for this baby to pop out. I have a scheduled c section for November 20th so I am getting everything ready. I am already dilated though but because of how big he has grown I am at risk of uterine rupture because I had an emergency c section with my daughter who just turned 3 on Halloween.
So enough personal here is a little bit about my card.
I used some quick silver embossing powder from Sparkle n Sprinkle and some white detail embossing powder from Sparkle n Sprinkle. I also used some grey snowflake ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used some pop dots to pop the Very Merry Christmas out and torn the edges to make it a little more textured.

Hope you play along with us this month!

Instant Witch

Happy Monday. Halloween is only a couple days away. Are you ready??? We are. We have even gone to a couple trick or treat parties and some community events already. This stamp is so fun and exciting and great for anyone. Today is my day for posting over at

The stamp used is Instant Witch.

I used some brand new Echo Park papers, colored the image with copics, and added some Impulsive Purple glitter. The black ribbon was just for a border and a good friend Barbara gave me the idea for the broomstick (I used black cardstock, orange twine, and part of a Capri Sun straw).

Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween!
