Party Ducks

Hello everyone. Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a wonderful busy weekend. We had storms, I had to pick my grandparents up and get them situated at their resort, try to take it easy so I didn't have contractions, and I checked out the hospital where I want to deliver! Amazing weekend right... well it didn't have much crafting so not too exciting. 

I used one of Great Impressions recently released called Party Ducks (G548).

I colored the image in my all time favorite copics and then some papers from My Mind's Eye but I have no clue what the name of the paper pad is. Bad right.... It was really an off weekend for me and my brain is fried from all this lightening!!!

New Digital Stamps

How is everyone's Wednesday going today???? Mine couldn't be better... Those on the West Coast will know we have been having some funky weather. We have been getting storm after storm here in Vegas so today is somewhat cool, extremely humid, and raining. It is nice to not have hot dust blowing about my face. My daughter though it doesn't matter any weather change throws her allergies off. 

Well I figured before waddling off to take my daughter to swim class and feel somewhat light thanks to my bouncy boy in the pool I would share a new digi stamp over at

New Stamp Release

How is everyone this fine Monday? Are you excited for release week to get on a roll and see some new stamps? This week we have a new addition of stamps available in-store and great for going back to school themes and teacher projects or even just to have to give your kid a stamp for doing great.

For cardstock I used an older My Mind's Eye paper pad that was boyish. I colored the stamps with copics and used kraft cardstock for the base color to go along with the feel of the card. 

I kept it really simple for you for our release we have going on.

Well I know I know I didn't use one of the sponsored images. I used a newer Magnolia image for a purse with some triangle pockets to slip away whatever you would like to write. 

The papers and canvas flowers are from Basic Grey. I had lost this canvas pretties and recently found them. I thought this would be perfect. I really think is would be great to stash some seed packets in this.

A new technique

Second post for today.... scroll down for my Great Impression Release. 

 I am sorry I am late with this post.  I had a wild weekend of contractions and tons of laying down to stay out of labor. I am only 26 weeks so I still have a long way to go before I can have this little boy!

Well recently Kassi made a post about a technique using distress inks and CIPaints!

I loved the technique and thought to make some thank you cards trying out some different colors!

I used the Tim Hotlz Tattered Flowers die to cut out the flowers and then I added a jewel in the center for extra pop. Th ribbon I used is from ribbon girls and really reasonable ribbon. The stamp is from Thanks a Bunch ( set 415) set over at Sparkle n Sprinkle.

Great Impressions Newest Release!

Hey everyone. Shanna here with a new card for the release this week.

I used some fun summer paper and a couple dies. The circle and scalloped circle are from spellbinder. The border die is from MFT. The sentiment was punched out using a circle punch I believe although it may have been a die. I colored the image with copics and had a blast glazing the jars. Mason jars are great for everything aren't they.

Well I am sorry but now Stamping Boutique image here. I have used a mini from my last Magnolia Stamp kit. I cannot wait to get more images and see what is next for the upcoming year of rubber stamps. I have been stamping and coloring left and right a ton of images just trying out new techniques.

This is such a hard task to do for me because they are so small. I actually hate mini images.... don't get me wrong they are still cute. I just like big images. I used some Bo bunny paper and had a blast using some old Prima fall leaves and a little bit of cheesecloth and a tad bit of lace. I don't make tags that much but I love what I did.

Get Well Wishes

Good Morning everyone!!!! I am sorry if nothing makes sense. I had some allergy problems that turned into a nasty sinus infection. I am suppose to be at the emergency room but who in their right mind has money for that!!!! The sinus infection is causing the left side of my face to throb and hurt like I got beat up. I went to the dentist Friday but they said it was most likely the swelling of my sinuses that is pushing nerves towards my fillings causing the pain. Being on drugs is so not fun and keeps me very unproductive. I guess my creative spurt I has the week before I got sick was no luck at all that I was able to get some work done ahead of time.

The Great Impressions Stamps

Well today I was a little off I thought this was going to be our release week.... 

SO TUNE IN NEXT WEEK FOR OUR NEWEST RELEASE!!!!

So I know I had this on my blog last week and figured I could share it with all you Great Impression lovers out there. It definitely fits the what I need right about now. 

For my card I used the stamp  Well Wishes (F447) and some flowers that were white I sprayed with some Tattered Angels Mist and Fireworks spray and mounted to the card using black brads.  I have no clue where I got the trim in the background but I think it was from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used a spellbinder label die and some Stampin' Up blue ink to ink around the image. I also used a walnut stain on the edges to darken the yellow paper. 

Well I hope everyone is having a great start to their week!

Good Morning. Sorry I am late with this post. I am totally on drugs at the moment. I know I know. Antibiotics don't seem to be working. I go see the doctor tomorrow and she said I may have to just og to the emergency room. So please everyone pray for me!

Good morning and happy first day of August. Is everyone getting ready for school? This summer went by so fast. It was really hot and I think that helped make it scoot on by.
