Good morning ladies and gents out there. I must say today is a wonderful day. I have a fun new project to share using some new products carried at Gina's Designs.
This week you will see the team focusing on using glassine bags for their projects or on their projects and today I used them for the base of my creations.
I don't know about you but there always seems to be someone having a baby and most of the time what they want on their registry may not always be what one can afford so a gift card can go a long way. I know when I had my daughter I loved going shopping for her with all the cute little outfits. Now that I have a boy we didn't need much but bedroom furniture, a car seat, and clothes. Therefore, gift cards to help with any cost was awesome. Of course I would gladly take diapers and wipes too... since those will always be a necessity.
Sorry to babble but on to my project.
I made gift card holders out of the middle size bags. For this project and love how these turned out. I tried my hand at some washi tape as I have some but never use it.
As you can see I just put a little not card in there for someone to write whatever they may and you can slip in a gift card as well.
I sprayed the doilies with Dylsuions sprays, painted the chipboard pieces with the new Distress Paints, and wrapped it all with washi tape and twine. It is a quick and simple project and great for quick gift giving!

Aw, these are adorable, Shanna! I have never used glycine before - was it difficult? Of course, nothing you create ever looks anything less than remarkable - always great artwork! hugs, de
