December ProjectPea Hop

Welcome to SugarPea Designs December
ProjectPea Blog Hop
Each month we challenge our fabulous team of ProjectPea Designers to create FUN & CREATIVE projects that are sure to make you look at your stamp sets with brand new eyes!

So to create this fun gifting mug I used a cut file with my Silhouette machine.
I cut all my pieces out and inked the edges.

I picked out my stamps and used the Layered Label Die and Sweet Treats - Christmas Stamp.

Then I assembled everything together and stuffed my mug full of yummy peppermint kisses! YUM!

The ProjectPeas have pulled out all of the stops with a variety of projects that will spark YOUR creativity.

Click through to each of their blogs below to see the FUN they have dreamed up. Leave them a little blog love and one lucky commenter will WIN a $15 Gift Certificate to the SPD Boutique.

Snowflake Cards

Hello everyone. Today to share with you some fun cards I created for Gina's Designs.

I really have been saving these papers (HOARDING) waiting for a great time to use them. When I pulled out my chippies to play with the first thing that popped into mind were these papers!

So for the chipboard pieces that I added to the cards got a coat of gesso. Then I added some stickles. I don't remember the color either (sorry).

The tags I really enjoyed leaving a blank chipboard feel too! Although I did ink the edges to give it a vintage edge!

Both card were finished off with a bow, flowers, and a sentiment.

Gina's Book Box

Well good morning and good day to you all. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far!!!
Today I have a new creation to share with you that I created for Gina's Designs.

She has these awesome Book Boxes in the store in three different sizes to choose from.

I covered the book in some Graphic 45 papers and Petaloo flowers.
The leafy clusters were first painted in gesso. Then they were painted with acrylic paint and given texture by using a heat gun to create bubbles.

Here you can see the texture perfectly.

Sugar Pea Anything Goes

My oh my I am late. So sorry to have this up late.

I have been forgetting things due to the holidays and parties and planning and the newest addition this year has been all the school functions. I am not use to kiddie swaps and programs and parties for my daughter as this is her first year in school.

I tell you the added running around and craziness had my mind gone.

However on the bright side I would so love for you to join us over at the SugarPea Designs Blog for a brand new fun challenge!

Our challenge this time is

I decided to go with some LUXE style tags. I love the clean look of black, white, and gold.

So I created 3 tags using the new Gift Tag DieLayered Label Die, and Sweet Treats - Christmas Stamp.

I used a different ribbon on each tag.

Gold embossing powder and black embossing powder. I absolutely love the shine the embossing gave each tag.

It was also simple so these can be added to any gift for anyone!

I do hope you play with us this challenge! I can't wait to see what you create!

Friends and Family

Hello everyone.
It has been so much fun these last few months creating for Frosted Designs.
Sadly this is my last post as we move towards the New Year which means time for some new faces and others to share their love for creating.

So for my post today I wanted to share a little holiday cheer.

I love using my Gelatos to add color to my modeling paste.

I had to add a flower to this fun and festive card. I wish you all Happy Holidays.

Reach For the Stars

Good day everyone. I wanted to share a layout I created for Gina's Designs.

I left my chipboard pretty basic although my stars really had to shine.

I added glass glitter with some gloss gel medium to keep up the shine in any gaps.

I left the chainlink blank because I think it popped off all of the colors. I love adding the rest of the embellishments but I thin my favorite was the stars.

I am so excited to share a new creation of mine.
I am so loving the new  Layered Label Die and Sweet Treats - Christmas Stamp.

I created this box using my Silhouette Portrait to create a treat holder. I don't have the right size chocolate nuggets that go in the box. (We love chocolate in my house). I did have a bag of mini ones though. I love the label die because it fit the box perfectly.
