Christmas Time

Good morning and sorry I am late with this post. We have a new challenge at

Our theme is

"Anything Christmas"

our sponsor is

For this challenge I wanted to do a different style card. I was thinking this would be fun colors and I wanted my hand at coloring white. I made a rosette and an open flap style card.

I used papers from the Bo Bunny Blitzen, regular kraft cardstock, MS boarder punch, silver ribbon from RRR, copics, pencils, and a Kaisercraft sentiment.

This card was a little different for me and I love how it turned out.

The inside is a little plain but I didn't really want too girlie of a card.

Let It Snow

Good evening everyone. I have a new challenge to share with you......

Our theme this week is

Let It Snow

Our sponsor this week is

Well this challenge is truly a fun one. I haven't seen snow well in over a year, but before that about 7 years. I let my daughter help out with the snow tex and as you can see it is everywhere. I used the Memory Box border that a friend gave me and my papers are from Prima's North County. I used some cheesecloth and MS punched out snowflakes. I used copics to color my Lili of The valley image and I love it. I used some MS coarse glitter and a MFT scallop die.

As you can see my daughter got snow tex everywhere. I was not sure how to color the stars.

I really love the winter memory box dies. I cannot wait to see what they come out with next.

It sucks that you can't really see my papers used but they are really cute.

Here is a photo on the inside of the card minus the white part to write on.

Last Minute Gifts and Cards

Hello...Hola...Bonjour...Bonjorno...and if anyone can teach me more hello's let me know

We have a new challenge over at

the theme is

"Last Minute Gifts and Cards"
Our sketch this week is

Remember you can play the theme, you can play the sketch or you can play both.

We would also love love love to see your Pixie (rubber or digi) images but you may also use any stamp from any stamp line you choose.
Well I must say I am not really a gifty person anymore. So what you see in my photo happens to be a jar of my homemade cranberry sauce. YUMMY! I was hoping to get to the store and get some peppermint candies to match the card and ribbon but that did not quite work how I liked it between my fiance and daughter being sick and taking card of them both, our washer machine broke and I have been waiting for the technician to call me saying we have the new motor and we are coming to put it in (my washer is only 2 years old). Of course my daughter would wet the bed so I had to spend time at the laundry mat. Trying to keep her nose covered and catch her throw up is a lot harder than trying to keep her cut clean which is healing good but since it did not stay closed it has a greater chance of getting infected :( and of course leaving a scar but she will never notice as the area creases already.

Sorry for my ramblings....back to my card. I used some candy cane looking ribbon and cheesecloth from the grocery store. I used a MS border punch and copics as well as some flocking powder.

My stamp I used is called Unfroggetable Winter from the newest release over at the Home of the Pixie Stamps The Pixie Cottage.

If you get a chance stop by and see what the rest of the team has created.

Sunade Bar

Good morning and afternoon. I hope everyone is okay as there is so much wrong happening at what is suppose to be a wonderful time of year. I think I would love to just fast forward and get the new year started! So much negative energy everywhere I truly need a good cleanse right about now.

My heart goes out to those in need at the moment as my life is at another low point. I for one know my situation could be way worse than they always are but when you are rock bottom the only way to go is up! With that being said there is a new challenge over at

Our challenge theme this week is

A Sundae Bar

Use red, stripes, stitching, and dies...

This week I must say I have no clue to the name of this image. She was in a stash from a swap I did over the summer. I used some candy cane twine, a green button from my stash, my copics to color her, some red ribbon from RRR, and a die from MFT (our sponsor).
Our challenge this week one of the toppings you can use is stitching. I do not know where my little sewer went so I drew some stitching in!

I hope you find time to play with us and top your cards for this sundae!

Also please stop by and see what my teammates have created!

A New Sketch

Hello everyone there is a new challenge over at

Totally Gorjuss

We would love to see your take on this sketch

I apologize for the tardiness of this post. I am truly pressed for time this week. My daughter is either sick or hurting herself to where we had to go to the ER. I took her bandage off today and it freaked her out so bad.  Her cut looks even worse than before. The glue is starting to pull from her skin and it is still pretty sore. She cried for another bandage... My poor baby. If she is anything like her father this is just the beginning. If I had a boy I would expect this lol.

Well here is my card. I love this Tilda. Mostly because it challenges those to use the light source in the image. Then making a glow in air. I love making it kind of dark. I finally got mineral spirits and will be trying that out for background.

Anyway, I really hope you have time to play with our sketch this week. I really love this and found it great for an easel card and I also thought to use this as a gate fold card as well.

I used Kaisercraft paper, Sparkle n Sprinkle gold detail embossing powder, walnut distress ink, green and ivory cardstock, Prima roses and pointsettias, an Amy R sentiment, spellbinder dies, glossy accents, copic markers, rhinestones, puffy paint, and ribbon from RRR.

Jingle All The Way

Hey Everyone.... I have had a rough day or two. My daughter decided early evening she was going to smash her thumb in a toy chest her grandpa made for her. Welll needless to say we ended up at the hospital, getting x-rays, and thank goodness it did not need stitches. I did a wonderful job of getting it closed and to stop bleeding, but her grandparents made an appearance and playtime began... I don't know how many of you have been in the ER. A two year old who like to play, run, and scream because all her grandparents do is spoil her... drove me crazy. It got her all hyper, she couldn't sit still for the x-ray, her cut opened up again (of course causing her to scream and cry). OH did we have a night. In the end she did not go to bed until after 11 pm. Then she woke up 4 times last night.... definitely not a good night. Then the bandage... I have to keep it wrapped for 24 hours and cannot let it get wet.... how many two year olds can manage that? I swear I cannot catch a break with my fearless wild child.

Today we have a new challenge over at

Our challenge theme is

"Jingle All the Way"

So I hurried to make this card. I am still catching up from her being sick for almost a week, my computer breaking down on me, my printer going out, all while dealing with Thanksgiving, birthdays, and Christmas decor. I think in a hurry this came out wonderfully. I used an older Tilda. The papers are Bo Bunny's "Father Time Collection". I colored her with copics and embellished the card with the edges distressed in antique linen and walnut stain, twine, lace, pearls, MFT rolled mini roses, and a Jingle Bell.

This was such a fun card to make. It took me a bit between my daughter hurting her hand and then me having to watch her constantly. But I really hope you have a chance to come by and play with us over at Paper Cutz.

Christmas Embossing

Hello Everyone. I am still trying to get back form having my technical difficulties. I spent so much time trying to get my computer fixed and then not having a computer. Then my printer broke while I was trying to get some cards made for challenges :(. Everything seems to be working a little better it is just going to take some time to catch back up. Of course this took back my getting ahead and having some done so I am again apologizing for the challenges I was not able to participate in and apologize to those I have yet to comment on. I promise I am going to try and catch up before Christmas.

Now let's get on to the new challenges. I have two new challenges today.
