Hope you get a chance to play with us before Christmas. Remember it is a two week challenge.

Meljen's Designs

I love Lili of the Valley's Christmas stamps. They are so fun to color. I used some green ribbon from Really Reasonable ribbon to make a double bow. I think I want to start making some big bow cards!

As you can see I also used some puffy paint to enhance the wintery feel.

This card was extremely fun to make. I really enjoyed coloring this particular image. I don't normally color couples but I love it. You can find this card for sale here at my Etsy Store.

Great Impressions Blog Hop with Ribbon Carousel

Welcome welcome welcome!!!! I am so excited to have you here today for our hop with

The Ribbon Carousel

Who in the world doesn't love ribbon and trim???? Who?????

Well grab a drink and snack and come along for a fun hop. If you are coming into this hop randomly why not start at the beginning so you can leave comments for your chance to win some fun prizes. If you do not have time the to hop today the hop is going on until Friday, November 30 at 11:59 pm EST.

I had so much fun with this card. I used a few different products to create this.

I used Peeled Paint distress ink, Goosebumps spray, cherry twine, scalloped circle die, snowflake charm, and then Fire Brick Red distress ink to use my Great Impressions Stamp: Merry Christmas (C409). I used this satin white ribbon to make the wreath, the cherry twine to tie on my snowflake, I used two different ribbons to create a little background border.

You can find this card for sale at my Etsy Store.

I used this tutorial here to learn how to make the ribbon wreath.

Now don't forget to leave comments for your chance to win some awesome prizes. The hop will run through to Friday, November 30 at 11:59 pm EST. Winners will be announced Saturday

On a personal note my son is such a wonderful addition. I really love when he tries to eat my face. I know it sounds crazy. If your a cuddle mommy and your have your baby close to your face... they wobble everywhere no matter how you hold them, but Avery loves to give me open mouth " I want to eat your face mommy" kisses.

This is him 2 days old!

Getting a Little Krafty

I have a fun and exciting new challenge for you today.

has a challenge this week of

Let's Get Krafty
Use Kraft cardstock + another color of your choice

We also have a wonderful sponsor this week

I used the stamp provided by Eureka called Wolf. It is a great digital stamp and looks really good.

This is an image I would do a black heat emboss and then paint a background. I think that would have also looked great.

I finished the card but cutting out a frame using a scalloped rectangle die, pop dots, and finishing the card with some black twine.

Hope you get a chance to play with us this week.

Hey everyone, quick post. I'm on 24 of no sleep typing this up from my phone. I hope it looks okay as ill be reading it a little later on my google reader.

I had Avery 11/23 @ 11:26pm. Surgery went great. He weighs 7 pounds 2 ounces and was 19 inches long. For how huge I was I cannot believe he was so small.

Here are a couple photos but I will probably be posting more soon or once I get home in a few days.

So today I decided to use a stamp that was fun and easy to cut out. I chose to use the stamp Party Time Lucy by C.C. Designs. This was such an easy fussy cut and great for popping up with a pop dot.

Of cousre once again I am using some of my favorite papers My Mind's Eye and finished the card off with some pearls. The colors seem a lot brighter in the photo but they are great for a fall style card.

Here you can see a little better how I popped the image off the card.

Butterflies, Diamonds, and Pearls

If you are here for the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog Hop CLICK HERE

I have two new challenges for you here today.

 theme this challenge is

B is for Butterflies

Sponsor this challenge is

So here are my butterflies. I wish I had more butterflies to share. This Magnolia image is one of my favorites. I love it. I was also lucky to still have some My Mind's Eye paper with butterflies left. I also recently purchased some wood butterflies by Maya Art I believe and I painted it white with acrylic paint. I finished the butterfly off with some seam binding ribbon.

I was not to sure about the black cardstock but looking at it, it really makes the card pop.

Next challenge up is

with a theme this week of

Diamonds and Pearls

Our sponsor this week is

I used another Magnolia image. I was practicing my yellow/ gold coloring with this image. I really love the colors and how she contrasts from the shabbiness of the rest of the card.

I used some chocolate pearls, big rhinestones, MS lace, cardboard, and come cheesecloth. The papers I believe are from FabnScraps. I really love the shabbiness of them but have yet to break into my shabby side. I swear I have so many projects in my head it is hard to keep them all straight and go for them. I start a lot at the same time because I see something I like and want to try it out!!!

Well I hope you play with these challenges this week!
