Gina's Artist Trading Blocks

Hi everyone. Today I have some fun new inspiration for you. I hope you enjoy this.

I was inspired by Tim Holtz. He did this July tag you can check out here.

I had lots of fun putting this whole thing together.

These pretties got a coat of distress crackle paint (rock candy) and then I used some stains to make the cracks show better. They also got walnut stain around the edges like the tag tutorial.

This was quick and fun to put together. I hope you enjoyed this post. Make sure to keep checking for more inspiration!

Summer Fun

It is Tuesday and guess what, time for a new challenge at Loves Rubberstamps. We have a fun theme this week.

I got to pick the theme this week and sine it is smack dab in the middle of Summer why not pick

Summer Fun

I have a wonderful and fun card to share. Looking at the pictures I am not sure about it anymore.
I colored the image thinking I would have some matching papers but I didn't. i literally threw these ones together from a My Mind's Eye paper pad I have. I liked the black but then that is not very Summer-like.

I then used some pop dots on the image and the sentiment.

Gina's Designs Nautical Shrine

Today is the start of a new weekend. I am very excited to share a new creation with you. It has been a while since I did an ATC Shrine. So today I am sharing one with you.

Sorry my photos are not so bright today. This "polar plunge" has the skies here icky and my camper has dim lighting and not the best light. I didn't have room to bring my lighting set up.

Here is the front. I wanted to keep it rustic looking.

The inside got covered with Graphic 45 papers and some sand.

I cut the pieces out that are on the sand.

So fun! Grab you ATC Shrines now! There are tons!

Frosted Designs Challenge

Hello Everyone. Today I am sharing my very first post with Frosted Designs.

They are having a challenge this go around of flowers and stitching.

Here are all three ATC's I made.

For my first card I used some favorite colors red, yellow, and blue gelatos. First I laid a layer of gesso. It created a great surface for gesso. I also used some black gelato to color my molding paste. Used a TCW stencil to add then added my faux stitching using Prima stamps. I also added some glass beads to the flowers.

This second one was fun. Again laid down a layer of gesso, then my gelatos, and I really loves using a stamp with watermark ink and some Lindy's Magicals. I added some Distress Glitter to my dragonfly and glossy accents to my flower.

My last ATC I used the steampunk gelato set. I love these colors. I even colored the flowers with the Black Cherry gelato. I added some crackled accents to make it pop and a pow.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. Make sure to check back for more.

Hello and how do you do. I have another set of fun cards to share with you today. I created these using Gina's Designs Lasercuts.

I loved using this paper collection with these flowers. It helped make the flowers just pop to me.

Gina's Designs Desk Organizer

A big hello and welcome to another weekend share I have created! I love love love Gina's Designs. There are so many amazing options for storage and organization like this.

Well I decided to cover this up with some Kaisercraft papers. I then added knobs to the drawers and some Stackable Labels.

First I painted the chipboard pieces with gesso, then some Claudine Helmuth paint, and to make it look tarnished I gave it a little rub n' buff. I did add some bling too!

I used some Wood Medallions for a base for my knobs got the same treatment as the Stackable Labels.

Bright Cheery Card

Happy Thursday everyone!

I really thought I would share this card today with all the brightness it fits summer to the fullest right now I think. In fact so exciting because Laura just loaded lots of new stuff in the store including new MFT products! Check out the new stuff here.

I love these papers I have been hoarding and I got to use a special flower a friend sent to me a while ago (guilty of hoarding again)!

I tried the paper piecing thing and once I got the photos edited I realized I forgot a step. Make sure you take a black marker around the edges of the paper you cut out for paper piecing. I notice you could se white spots here and there where it should look like black ink from stamping.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
