Not really too much to say about this card today except I had fun trying to color the pleats in her dress. Not sure I succeeded to the point of some. I would so love to see Alyce color this image so I could get a better idea of how to color the pleats!

I colored the image with copics YAY! And I remembered to distress everything!

SugarPea Sketch

Hello everyone. Welcome to a new Monday and new week.

Today I have a new card for you.

Today over at the SugarPea Designs blog there is a new sketch challenge.

For my card I used The Merry Christmoose stamp set. It has several sentiments that make this image great for any occasion. Like the sentiment I used "Moosing You"! So fun!

Here is the sketch for the challenge so I hope you get the chance to play along with us.

I kept this card so fun and simple. First I used the Gift Tag Sugar Cuts Die to cut the tag out. Then I used some white embossing powder to set the image making it pop from the tag. Then I stamped the sentiment, inked all me edges, and glued it all down!

I really hope you have been inspired with this cute card today and I look forward to you sharing your SugarPea creations with us!

Precious Layout

Hey everyone. I hope you are having an amazing weekend so far.

Today I wanted to share a layout I recently made for Gina's Designs Lasercuts. Masculine is still a new thing to me. I couldn't help it but I had to use flowers.

I had so much fun using this frame in my background and really got to get into the mixed media look of it.

I added several layers on this chipboard. First I gave it a quick coat of gesso. Then I added some Lindy Stamp Gang Sprays and a little bit of some glass bead gel.

I added some splatters of the color sprays I used.

My boy has such a sweet smile and he was almost 1 when I had this photo take. I loved adding these pieces to make it more masculine.

Hope you found so inspiration make sure to keep checking out the blog for more inspiration daily.
