Altered Frame

I have a little project I made Gina's Designs

Have you seen the Tim Hotlz Tattered Floral Challenge? There are so many wonderful projects people have created for this challenge. Of course who wouldn't want some Tim Holtz goodies??? I know I want it bad but with all the wonderful projects to chose from, I am just going to be in shock and awww to see who gets picked.

Well get ready this a a little picture heavy as I share how I altered this frame!

Step 1: pick out some textured material to use and cut them out using the tattered floral die.

You can see I had some metal in here too (soda can).

Step 2: I painted the frame using gesso for a bottom layer, crackle for a second, and Pool color for a top layer.

Step 3: Assemble your flowers. I am not going to lie I used stains, Lindy's sprays, and Tattered Angels Mist. Hints now photos as I went crazy!

Step 4: I made my hinges look a little patina and painted my Family with white.

Step 5: Put it all together

Gina's Lasercuts: Delicate Frames and Ornament Set (Flourishes)Mini Guy Thing Shape Set (Bike)Stackable Label Shape Set, Hinge Shape Set, Words and Phrases ( There is a 1 and 2)
