Faber Castell Birdhouses

Good Morning and HAPPY DAY to you. Has everyone been having fun getting crafty? I know I have been. Well I have a project to share that I made using some Faber Castell gel sticks. Did you know they are having a Guest Call right now? Check it out on the Faber Castell blog.

So for my project I wanted to do something fun and bright and different with these birdhouses from Gina's Designs. She makes awesome lasercut pieces so make sure you spend some time in the store. 

I painted all the pieces white with gesso to prime them. 

Then I got to work with my gel sticks and spritzing so the color would spread nicely.

After I got them colored I started getting the ready to piece together. 

Then I went crazy using stencils with gesso and stamps to enhance them.

I think I might add these to cards or canvas works. Just not to sure yet but figures I would share my little project I created for the Faber Castell Guest Call.
