My first canvas

Good Morning and happy MONDAY! Yes you get to start the week off with wonderful me. Today I am excited and would really love your feedback. Today I am sharing my first canvas piece. I have been watching Limor's classes and decided to give it a try. Definitely, turned out a little differently then I expected but it was pure trial and error with lots of fun.

For this projects I used the Love of Butterflies set, tissue paper, Archival Ink, gesso, matte gel medium, assorted sprays and mists, and some embellishments for texture.

First Istamped out butterflies all over the tissue paper.

Second adheres the tissue paper using the gel medium.

Add cheesecloth and drywall tape for texture.

Here are some extra textures.

I gessoed everything.

Then used my sprays to add some color.

I added some words using rub on letters. Sprayed a little more. Added bling to my centers too.

Last stamped more butterflies on the canvas.

Here is a finished view of the canvas. My first canvas I would say yay I did it. Know all you out there who have never done it try it. It was really fun and I can't wait to start my next one.
