First Paper Cutz DT card

Hello Everyone and good morning. I have a new card to share with everyone. It is my first challenge as a design team member for

Paper Cutz

Our challenge this week is

"Caution... Ghost Crossing"
But you can only use the colors white, orange, black, and purple!

Here I used some cling stamps I have in a holiday stash. I used some white staz on pigment ink and clear embossing powder on my ghosts. I then cut them out and used pop dots to make them stick out off the page. I stamped spider webs around the edges of my paper and used plain cardstock from my stash and distressed them. The ribbon is from the September ribbon club from Really Reasonable Ribbon! I cannot wait to make more cards this week. So play along and have some fun with us and check back later to see what else I have created!

Quick Post

Hello Hello Hello!
I have a quick post I would like to share. Yesterday I had a wonderful evening alone. I should have spent it working on my cards but I went and pampered myself. I stayed up until God know when working though, which made it hard for me to get out of bed and get my butt in the gym!

I will admit I threw this together for a couple challenges and I am not really happy with it. I think it need something and I cannot for the life of me put my finger on it. She is a new maggie I got and I really wanted to hurry up and use her! I used some buttons I got from ribbon girl, my ribbon is from Michaels, my papers are MME, pupmkin button from my stash, and I used copics!

Chocolate!!!

Okay Told you I would be back even sick I am being very productive. My daughter has been just bouncing off the walls and the medicine is no longer effecting her. I just have to keep an eye on her with her tissue...she likes to blow her nose once and get another one or start shredding it liek she is making paper for a hamster cage!

I threw this card together quickjly today... Real easy to all those wow are going to try and commit to the same goal as me...I have succeeded in the first card I have done since  (my last post) I did the inside.... I didn't do this one yet I have the papers right there to do it but my daughter was non stop apple apple apple lol so we took a break and I figured I could upload my blog while she eats.

I find cream a hard to color color if you know what I mean. Being new and not taking any classes yet I definitely need to practice a little more. I am not happy with my image but overall I am happy with the card. I sed two types of lace ribbon on from Ribbon girl and one from RRR. My flowers are WOC and my swirls are from Recollections.  I distressed my edges with scissors instead of my Tim Holtz tool and them used walnut stain DI on the edges. Pretty quick and easy layout. The chocolate part though hard hard hard..... I think I pulled it off a little though!

Thanks for stoping by and check back for some upcoming challenges!

Sassy Tammy

Hello everyone. I have a quick post of a card I threw together over the past few days! I don't have a clue why it took me so long. Although we have been sick here at the house. The weather changes got my baby sick among her horrible allergies and then next day I had a sore throat! My super cute monster with boogies the size of the blob has had me laughing and in high spirits even though we are medicined out!

Wow I got excited and pushed post before I could finish the post!
Lord I need some sleep!

Okay so I used one of my new Simply Sassy gals called Tammy. Is this not cute.... Makes me feel good because I wear glasses. I used a lot on this card. My papers are from MME and I colored her with copics (BV and V) for the purple challenge. I used flock and snow crystal powder on this card....and my viva decor pearl pen I got from stampingscrapping.com. I used my spellbinder die to cute the circle out. I really need to get more dies... I am trying to sell my cricut so I can get more dies! The new dies released look fun and I cannot wait to get my first Marianne Die!!!!!

Well look Tammy over and I will have a nother post up here in a little while.

Babies, Babies, and more babies.

Our sponsor this week is the fabuolous superstore of wonders

This challenge I have a simple card. I love this blue so of course that leans towards boys. I had these hand print and foot print stickers so I used the feet on this card. I really wanted to keep it simple so it can be given to anyone since at the moment I do not have any friends in need of a boy card! My ribbon is from RRR and my sentiment is from  a stash I had from when I had my daughter. My cardstock is just basic cardstock from Recollections.

Come by and play with the Creative Card Crew and show us your baby creations!

Also, I just wanted to share with everyone out there that Sweet Stampin' is having a design team call. They want creators of all kinds!!!! I know it seems like it may be a lot of it's so fun and great to challenge yourself!

Prayers for those who have lost!!

I don't have a card right now.... I just wanted to post for 9/11 and everything that has been going on.... I remember when it had happened. I was in high school in my economics class when the teacher got a call and we turned on the tv in the classroom....I couldn't believe what I saw.... I was literally in shock seeing what was going on and people in class started crying and getting out cell phones calling family members. We were watching tv live when the second plane hit and just watching the devastation..... School was released early that day and I felt like the world had come to a stop.....

My heart goes out to all those who have lost anyone in this horrific tragedy! I wish I was there in NY to partake in the day and remember those our country lost!!!! I have never been to there and it is so crazy even now to watch clips of what happened that day.

I have many friends that have died in this war and loved ones who have served and protected this country.

Many people speculate that our country has caused this and let this happen. I just pray and hope that our country can be stronger because of this and be wiser in choices so we do not have to suffer anymore.

For those who have lost just remember everyone is praying and thinking about you!

My Favorite Things

I noticed a lot of people are going to try and commit to finishing the insides of their cards!!!!
Ladies we can do it, we can do it, we can do it.

I almost feel like we should have a support group lol!

Okay I have a little bit to get off my chest. I have a love/hate relationship with Netflix. How many of you out there have it on your Wii???? Well I do and honestly, any older movie I want to watch is not available. Any DISNEY movie....is not available....I can only watch tv shows on there really...HOW LAME IS THAT? And the price of redbox has gone up... Redbox is no longer .99 a movie but $1.15 lol...Really people. I miss my good old verizon FiOS!

IT'S TIME FOR A NEW CHALLENGE

Finishing Touches  (Finish the inside of your card)

Our sponsor this week is

They carry stamps, dies, and other wonderful things!

I am using a mini rolled rose  die. I still need a little practice with these things. My favorite thing they have are their dies...so many fun doilies and these rolled roses among others!

Now I do not know about everyone else, but I am so busy I just decorate the outside of my cards now. I put the paper I use in a special pile so when I am ready I just finish it up and mail it out! I need to get back in the habit and manage my time so I can throw the insides together that way I don't have to do it later. In fact from this day forward mission inside card completion will commence....

I used a Magnolia image for my card today. I added some stardust stickles to the pollen dots around the flowers.  I colored her with copics and used MME signature suite paper. I love here paper and there is so much out there. Like I have complained before I hate their double sides because their paper is so pretty I don't get to show it all but maybe one day they will see my point of view...also I know we all love the 6x6 pads...but honestly I am a 12x12 pad girl all the way!

Saturday Sketch

Hello Everyone!!!!
I have great news.....for those who follow the Paper Cutz crew I made the team.... WOOOO WHHOOO!
I am now on three design teams... I am still waiting to hear back from a few more. But I am extremely happy. I am on my way to showing the world my creative side and pushing myself to do better each time so those out there can be inspired. I am hopefully going to get another desk made soon because I am running out of room on my little computer desk. As my mom says I just need to create better storage. Maybe when she comes to visit that can be her job while she is here!

I have a new card I wanted to share. I haven't played with Sketch Saturday in forever and I love bunting so I figured why not through something together.....so the little organized freak I am, I ran through my list of challenges to figure out hmmmm what can I combine with this... and this is what I came up with!

My paper is from DCWV, flowers are Prima and WOC, Magnolia image is Tilda with apples.....( I made them peaches), and my baker'e twine is from the Ribbon Girl. I colored my image with copics and used some summer colored flower soft and gave the peaches a glaze.... I know they aren't shiny but they were not big enough for me to add fluff too to get the effect I wanted....

Well I hope you like it and cannot wait to share my up coming creations with you!

I have a quick card to show everyone. I used a Gourjuss girl. Isn't she cute???? I got to use some MME paper!!!! I LOVE THIS CARD COMPANY!!!!! I just wish their paper was not double-sided.... such a waste!!!! I'd rather it be on recycled paper so I can use all the papers accordingly....I used some lace from RRR....I am hoping and praying to be on their DT. I love Bonnie she such a wonderful person and even though I live states away such a big help! Her blog has taught me some amazing tricks! I colored her with copics and used some $1 glitter from Michaels.

Yummy Strawberry

Gooooooood Morning everyone in blogland. I have another card to share with everyone. I had fun making this one. Really loved coloring this Tilda. Can you say yummy strawberry???? Too bad berry season is over here... Lucky for those who know how to can and make jams.... peach butter is my number one favorite canned pantry keep! If only I knew how to make it....canning of course is not something that was passed down to me....thank goodness I would be so busy making jams I would never have time to craft!!!! Although that is a craft.... maybe one day I'll learn and make my own goodies to share!

Well here she is. This card really was fun. I colored her with copics and added some strawberry buttons that I had in my fun stash...just didn't have time to saw off the back part so they could lay flat. I got to use some maggie paper I had been holding on to and some seam binding ribbon from RRR that I am now out of and lace. I applied to be a part of their DT and hopefully I can get the position. Bonnie is such a wonderful lady and I pray everything gets back to normal for them since they were hit with Irene. I also used some distress inks around the edges of my papers and my wonderful distressing tool. I love that little thing! I added a Magnolia Strawberry and colored it with DI's. O and the sentiment is a MS stamp.
