Fantasy Creations

Hello and good morning or evening to every one. I hope everyone had a wonderful Monday. I treated myself to a new pair of glasses and sunglasses. So exciting well overdue. My sunglasses were over four years old and my glasses are a little over two years old. Thank goodness for my 12 months same as cash until we get taxes back. So I love Prima so much I think I will be buying two whole collections and maybe a handful here or there of others. Their mid releases have started and OMG! I am in love. If I could marry Prima I would. Anyways....there is a new challenge today over with the

I had never really been a fantasy person to create fantasy like cards I should say. What is really funny  thing (well to me it is) is I got this paper pad Bo Bunny Garden Girl and I only wanted one paper out of the pad and I thought to myself, what can I use these papers with??? Well Michelle's images are perfect for the paper pad. I mean this paper pad was made for her stamps. I loved coloring this image although I did not do too much detail this time, next time I color her I want to make her larger and try out my pencils. I think these stamps are perfect for coloring with pencils.

I used copies to color the image and I added some Sticklers everywhere. I also added some liquid pearls. I used a MFT die and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I added some half pearls and also used some distressed ink on the edges just to make them a little darker! Hope you like. Stop by and see what else the Creative Card Crew has created.

Love Birds

Happy Monday Happy Monday. How many have been watching all the sneak peeks???? I have I have! I love it all. I cannot wait to start ordering some new products. I have started some wonderful projects. Some of those which I hope to be able to share with you soon. Even some new techniques I have been practicing.

Well today I have a new card to share that I made for Great Impressions. If you have yet to start following please go over and check out the wonderful talent. We post there weekly and will be starting up challenges as soon as the store is up and running. They offer a wonderful collection of stamps in your choice of stickables (cling) or wood mount. The best part they have new stamps that come out monthly!

So for today I just made a simple Valentine card using the image Love Chicks B189. I stamped them in Stampin' Up Ink Pretty In Pink. I then proceeded to use my my scalloped square spellbinder dies to cut out some white and pink cardstock.  I used some Bo Bunny papers and pink tissue paper along with ribbon and twine as well as some pearls and some Rosy Red Glitter. I also added a charm that was given to me as a gift so I have no clue who makes it sorry but who doesn't LOVE a little LOVE!

I hope you find inspiration in my card today and go see what else The Great Impressions have to show you this week.

Valentine's Day

Good Morning and a Happy Sunday to you! I am having such a wonderful weekend. The weather has been so up and down and well my nutritionist is helping me get myself balanced hormonally without going to pills first. I would say I have a little on my plate right now with my fiance not knowing how long they want to keep him, our new puppy, my health (I am having a hard time eating on top of all the other problems), potty training my two year old, and getting my schedule back to normal. All I can do right now is think of crafting. I don't think they have a crafting addictions anonymous group huh!

So onto today's challenge!!!!

I was so excited for our sponsor as they just released a wonderful new line. I used the new stamp Aphrodite Willow. Is she not beautiful?? I know several of the team members used her. I love everything about her. I tried hard to think Greek colors and all that came to mind was white and gold. Since I thought she deserved more than a white gown I went with something bright. Greece has such dark blue waters so I thought that perfect for inspiration. I colored her with copics, some Prima flowers, and used some new Glitz Designs papers from CHA 2012. Out already in several places. I used products found at  All That Scraps they have some sales going on as they will be receiving CHA new products soon!

Keeping It simple

Good evening everyone. Are you ready for the weekend? I am. I am ready to power through and get some creations made. I have only coloring on my mind at the moment. I have to push FL outside of my brain and really focus on my work and my new projects I wish to take on. I have been rather busy coloring but now it is time to test my creativity. I started with that today.

Our theme this week is

"KISS - Keep It Simple"

Our sponsor this week is

I used the stamp New Hat. I thought she was adorable. They have so many new stamps out though. I would love to have some of those.  I am not good with Clean or Simple cards. I used some My Mind's Eye Paper and some twine. As always, I colored my image with copics although nothing to fancy as this is suppose to be a KISS.

Buttons Galore

Today we have a new challenge over at

How is everyone doing today. I am a tiny bit behind again. My fiance has asked me to accompany him to Florida which has taken time away from my crafting. Although he is unsure of his length of time in Florida so we will only be there for a week maybe. They may keep him there for a year though. I do not honestly think I could be away from him for a year. So the person I am I am trying to find us a place to rent. Well where he is working of course just happens to be where they hold PGA golf tournaments and all that jazz. It is a bit more than I think we can handle on top of our mortgage. I may have to pack it all up and rent our house out if we can not find something affordable that he normally pays when he is traveling or on the road for months at a time. Okay enough babble from me.

On my card today I used the image Randy from Robyn's Fetish. He is a cute little digi and perfect for Valentine's Day coming up quickly. I colored him with copics and used a Echo Park Yours Truly paper pad. I used some sticker letters I had to spell love and some buttons from my stash filled with heart brads. If you get a chance stop by the store and check out some things on sale. They are getting ready to fill stock up from CHA!

Wise Old Owls

Good morning and a happy Monday to you all. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was full of thunder, lightening, and rain.... cold rain!!!! I do not understand what the heck is going on with the weather, but a little steady pace of one temperature would be nice. Not this sunny and rainy back in forth banter of cold and warm.

Well today I have a short post, but just wanted to share with you a quick and simple masculine card. I do not normally make masculine cards so this was a fun change for me. I really love the colors and the owls are just too adorable. Owls I think were a real big hit last year.

I used the Wise Owl (E644) stamp and the With Age (E647) stamp.
I colored the owls with copics and used my Spellbinder Oval Die, and distressed the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink . I used some My Mind's Eye paper with some chocolate colored cardstock I have. I also used some cream cardstock to stamp the With Age sentiment stamp in Memento black ink and distressed the edges with Walnut Stain distress ink. I cut it like a banner and finished the card off with some jute string and a button.

Are you all ready for some GREAT IMPRESSION'S challenges???
We are working behind the scenes to hopefully have it up as soon once the store is up and running. Unfortunately, bad weather is has the owner's playing it safe right now. Hopefully they are doing okay as there have been power outages all over due to the bad snow storms.

Hopefully you all love my card. Please stop by GREAT IMPRESSION'S tomorrow to see what new project awaits to inspire you!

Paper Piecing

Hey everyone. Good morning.
Quick reminder today is the last day for my candy and Tuesday is the last day to enter my other candy.
Well I have had a hefty weekend full of not what I needed, but I did what I had to do to get things done a little bit. I got the house clean, some bills paid, ordered some stamps, colored, celebrated a birthday, got stormed on, and got onto a store team for All That Scraps!
It's a busy weekend right, and it's not even over yet! I still have to go grocery shopping (produce shopping), get dog food, and a new tag for our newest puppy! I'll put pictures up of my fur babies.

So onto today's challenge!!!!

"Paper Piecing"

I used the image Pure Innocence 019. I thought this would be a great stamp for my first try at paper piecing. Well cutting out her fingers and trying not to rip the heart was harder than I thought. Then I put the paper in the printer wrong as you see love is sideways instead of right side up!

I colored the image with copics and used my MS border punch. The papers are from My Mind's Eye Love Me  paper pad. I tried a little shading on the cut out heart. I used a vellum sentiment and embellished it with a rhinestone heart.

I really hope you get over to the Paper Sundaes blog and see what the rest of the team has created!

Welcome

Good evening everyone. Are you ready for the weekend. I am not I have a birthday party to go to tomorrow and I am not feeling the long drive there at all especially if it is going to be raining.  Well the new challenge is over at

our theme this week is

Welcome
(Welcome home, Welcome baby, Welcome to your new job, etc.)

We have a new sponsor this year

I used the new Celebration Tilda. Unfortunately All That Scraps
is out of stock but you can stop by and check out the rest of the Magnolias as well as the spellbinder circles dies I used. I also used My Mind's Eye Love Me paper pad. It was so hard for me to want to cut these papers up. Of course I colored my image with copics, which can also be purchased at All That Scraps. I used a MS border punch, added some heart rhinestones, some jute string and ribbon from RRR, and some Walnut Stain distress ink (On sale here) on the edges of the circles.

I loved coloring her. I am nor good with coloring with the RV shades yet. I did not like the color so I went over them with some of the R's and W's.

My sentiment was hand typed and punched out with a SU punch.

If you get a chance to stop in a check out the store please do. Tons of stuff on clearance and on sale.

3 challenges and a candy update!

Good morning I am having one busy day.
If you are looking for the Sparkle n Sprinkle blog hop click here
Don't forget I have two separate sugar free candies too here and here one is ending this Sunday and then next Wednesday so hurry up and enter.

Shall we get on with today's fun???

Colour Create  is having a new challenge with the color scheme of

Pink, green, and neutral with the option of handmade flowers

Our sponsor for this challenge is

I used a new image just released not too long ago. I totally love her. She was really fun to color. I think I want to do one in white with some pink wings or red with sparkly fluff on the wings... Hmmm I should have added that to this card.  I followed along with the The Sweet Stop Sketch for this card. I really thought I needed to keep it CAS for all the cards you all have to look at today :)
Now for the handmade flowers... errr rolling flowers is not my forte and lol I need a day with a whole lot of them punched out so I can practice.

If you get a chance to stop by and see what the team has created we have a lot of variety for you to choose from for some inspiration. Hope you can play along.

Our next challenge for today is

a little WHITE on WHITE challenge

with THREE sponsors for this challenge

For this challenge I used a Meljen image that was free... they have freebies so go grab some!
I used plain white cardstock and embossed it, threw on some white ribbon, and some white sticker letters that I had laying around in a box.

Many think white on white is hard... I definitely don't feel comfortable doing it but come try it out with us and check out what the rest of the team created.

Lastly

Also Dutch Dare is having a sketch challenge stop by and play

Also don't forget there is a blog hop down below for Sparkle n Sprinkle!

Also Stop and Scrap had tons of pre-orders...sadly I didn't get some before they were already out of stock on a pre-order (crying...tears...more sobbing)

A little Embossing

Good morning....Afternoon...Evening..... Sorry I woke up a little late

:(

We have a new challenge over at

the theme is

"Embossing"

and as always we have a sketch for you to play with as well!

For today's challenge I used Hannah at the Fence and you can get her right here over at
Michelle's Scrapbooking and More. I colored her with copics and I am loving red right now. Thank goodness for refills! I am starting to move to blues and pinks but I am still all for red.
The papers I used are from the newest Lily Bee Designs paper pad. I also used an embossing folder on some pearl paper. The flowers I sprayed with some TAM and then I added stickles to the center of them.

It is a little hard to see but I stamped you are special in the corner. It was a cheap cheap stamp I got a Michael's.

If you can come along and play with us and remember you can use any image you have.
